What is the registration process?
Please call our office or email our Director Margie Gibson to set up a time to visit our school. Once you’ve decided you’d like your child to attend the Day School, a non-refundable deposit of $75.00 must be placed to hold a spot for your child.
What is the age requirement for First Baptist Day School?
Children must be 2 years 9 months old on or before August 31st to register.
What are the school hours?
The 2 Day Preschool Program hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The 3 Day Pre-Kindergarten Program hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for Classroom 1
and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for Classroom 2.
The Transition Program hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
What time does preschool start?
The Day School will open promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Does my child need to be potty-trained before attending preschool in September?
Please don’t let this be a worry. Our Teachers are fantastic with assisting in the training of your child. If this is the case, we ask that your child wear pull-ups to school, and have a change of clothes in his/her backpack.
What should I do if my child is sick?
Please keep your child home, so as to stop the spread of germs.
What should I do if my child will be absent?
Please call the office to let us know your child will be absent. 781-944-3876 press 2
What if I’m going to be late picking up my child?
Please call the office to let us know you will be late. Please make sure you have anyone who may pick up your child, on your authorized pick up list ahead of time.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is due the 15th of every month. The last tuition payment will be May 15th.
How should I make payment for tuition?
You can mail a check to our office, drop cash or check in the blue mailbox by classroom 2 or set up direct payment through your bank. Checks should be made out to: Reading Baptist Day School.
What should my preschooler bring to school?
Your child will be coming home with many projects and papers! A backpack is a great idea.
What is Lunch Bunch?
Lunch Bunch is an optional, fun filled hour of having lunch with peers, playing with friends and teachers. Please send in a nut-safe lunch for your child.
